Job Description

As an Oracle ERP Financial Transformation – Senior Solution Specialist for Highstreet, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost reduction and fostering innovation at the enterprise level. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing business requirements, leading functional design prototyping, and shaping process design stages of Oracle Cloud implementations. This role demands a seasoned professional adept at optimizing operations across the entire organizational spectrum, from strategy formulation to implementation and operation. You will spearhead various Oracle ERP implementation workstreams and Finance Process transformations, leveraging your extensive experience to deliver exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities

Leverage extensive Oracle ERP Cloud experience across multiple modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Cash Management.

Serve as a subject matter expert throughout the implementation lifecycle of Oracle ERP Cloud projects, providing invaluable support for Oracle Cloud solutions.

Demonstrate proficiency in Support Life Cycle, SLA management, and collaboration with Oracle Product and Cloud Infrastructure support teams.

Exhibit a proven track record in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting fit-gap analyses, leading conference room pilots (CRPs), functional configuration, Sprint sessions, testing, and client user training.

Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in end-to-end implementations/support projects involving Financials modules.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).

Exhibit expertise in file-based data import and export processes.

Collaborate directly with Business Users as a Financials functional expert.

Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments effectively.

Gather, analyze business requirements, and perform Fit-Gap analyses with precision.

Actively participate in preparing various project documents, including Solution designs, Functional Specifications, Setup Documents, SIT-UAT Test Scripts, and Training materials.

Effectively explain business requirements to other project team members.

Author functional requirement documents with clarity and precision.

Create and execute test scenarios across various test environments.

Collaborate closely with users during the user acceptance testing phase.

Support ERP-enabled Finance Transformation projects, providing impartial advice and opinions, agnostic of the system.

Perform in-depth analysis on financial data/transactions using advanced analytics/automation technologies.

Develop and present work products and materials to executive leadership with confidence.

Assess and recommend innovative solutions, such as automation of delivery processes.

Manage critical path updates based on information gathered from Technical and Functional SMEs.

Streamline internal processes to gain efficiencies across workstreams through cross-collaboration and transparency.

Demonstrate exceptional project and task management skills to structure/prioritize actions and develop high-quality work products and deliverables on time.

Possess relevant experience in technology implementation methodology and cycles (Development, Testing, Documentation, Cutover, Deployment, Post-Deployment).


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.

6+ years as a Functional professional in consulting and/or industry experience.

6+ years of experience implementing ERP systems, specifically Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Revenue Management, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, etc.

Proven experience working directly with Business Users as a Financial functional expert.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with client functional leads on business process enhancements.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments effectively.

Proficiency in gathering, analyzing business requirements, and performing Fit-Gap analyses.

Active participation in preparing various project documents, including Solution designs, Functional Specifications, Setup Documents, SIT-UAT Test Scripts, and Training materials.

Comprehensive understanding of finance business processes, including forecasting and budgeting cycles, and actual corporate reporting requirements.

Demonstrated expertise in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.

Understanding of various system deployment methodologies (Agile, Hybrid Agile, Waterfall).

Relevant Data Architecture knowledge and experience.

Proven experience in Project Management (Resource, Scope, Budget), with an emphasis on tech implementation solutions.

Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with both business-oriented and IT-oriented clients.

Demonstrated experience as a senior resource leading the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, and client user training.

Extensive experience leading client conversations around business processes, leading industry practices, chart of accounts design, recommendation on custom processes, and practices for mapping legacy to future state.

Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.

Proven record of 2+ successful ERP implementations.

Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments effectively.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).

Commitment to gaining exposure in multiple industries.

Commitment to gaining Oracle Cloud experience and certification.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Experience mentoring junior staff.

Experience leading an entire workstream of relevant financial applications.
