Job Title: Oracle Exadata Admin Support
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Travel: 25%
Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and solve. • Proficiency in running Exadata environments, including storage administration, Hard-working Scan, and Exadata-specific features. • Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and other high availability and disaster recovery solutions. • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) deployment, Configuring Baseline situations, monitoring and management tools. • Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer • Solid understanding of database security principles. • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, Python) for automation and task scripting. • Manage, administer, and maintain all Oracle databases hosted on Exadata infrastructure. • Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patches on Exadata systems. • Experienced in Managing DR databases, RAC and any other HADR solutions for Oracle • Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and efficiency. • Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking. • Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for Exadata databases, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. • Conduct capacity planning and resource utilization analysis for Oracle / Exadata environments. • Knowledge on latest Oracle and Exadata technologies and best practices. • Participate in the planning and execution of database migrations, upgrades, and consolidation projects. • Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and standards. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Oracle, AWS Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Cloud practitioner) are a plus. • Location Requirement - Los Angeles (3 days/week onsite)
