Project Description:

The Oracle HCM Implementation Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the ITS Program Management Office. The focus of this engagement is on Project Management for implementing Oracle HCM systems for Los Angeles Metro, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within specified timelines, budgets, and scope to meet stakeholder expectations.

Role Description:

As a Project Manager specializing in Oracle, you will collaborate with Senior Management and key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, and value propositions. You will lead the integration of Oracle HCM and Human Resources Solutions, acting as a liaison between project members, and ensuring alignment of ITS strategy with corporate objectives. Key responsibilities include project management activities, resource coordination, presentation of project status, and leading project deliverables.

Key qualifications:

1. Technical Requirements:

   10+ years of implementation project management experience with Oracle HCM. Experience in project and program management of Oracle HCM systems (at least three full suite implementations, two or more in the cloud). Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Services and deep knowledge of industry best practices for implementing Human Resources solutions.

2. Collaboration and Relationship Building: Work effectively with diverse teams, eliciting cooperation from various participants. Manage day-to-day customer relationships and expectations during project delivery.
3. Lead discovery workshops, solution presentations, and prototype demonstrations. Identify business user process pain points, perform business process modeling, and analyze complex data.
4. Independence & Collaboration: Work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Successfully manage Oracle HCM systems and Business Solutions, ensuring on time delivery. Adapt to shifting priorities and timelines, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Prioritize tasks and thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
5. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business/Public Administration, or related technical/IT program. Master's Degree preferred. Leadership and project management training are beneficial. PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Lead Oracle HCM implementations for Transportation or public agencies with 5000+ employees preferred.
