We are looking for an individual, to work within our Enterprise Solutions Group in the role of Projects Business Analyst. The individual will bring expertise and knowledge to the team as a key contributor responsible for the global roll-out of Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Modules for NOV.

The candidate will interface with business users, our system integrator and business analysts within the NOV global network and work in a fast-paced environment performing multiple tasks to deliver a quality world class ERP to our business users. This role will facilitate and improve communication between business and technical resources.

Essential Job Functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Gather requirements, create design documents, and perform impact analysis for application changes.
  • Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and manage and coordinate with consultants for implementations.
  • Interpret and convert data based on business requirements and shepherd the data for delivery.
  • Work with existing systems to track and manage issues and enhancement opportunities.
  • Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs functional testing.
  • Managing User Documentation as well as Design Documentation
  • Understand and modify the Application Configuration as needed
  • Conduct user sessions for requirement and testing

Minimum REQUIRED Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in implementing Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) cloud modules

OR

  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing Oracle Projects E-Business Suite (R12) modules

The implementation experience could include, but is not limited to, Configuration, Integrations and Data Conversions.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science or related fields

Following qualifications are not mandatory, but would provide a big advantage in the selection process:

  • Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally, for events like User Acceptance Testing
  • Ability to write Oracle SQL queries
  • Knowledge of tools like MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Visio
  • Oracle PPM Cloud Certification
  • PMP Certification

Non-technical skills for this role:

  • Background or practical experience in Project Management or Administration
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and critical thinking, problem-solving skills
  • Passion and drive towards learning new systems or processes
