Oracle Projects/Financials Architect

The Oracle Projects/Financials Functional Architect will have a deep functional and broad multi-Industry level of expertise for the Oracle Projects application support software landscape.  The FSA will engage in many critical aspects of the Spinnaker Support business including customer support, team development, sales/marketing activities, and business process improvements. The FSA will provide ongoing application and process improvement suggestions and manage compliance throughout all aspects of the maintenance service delivery life cycle from sales support, through initial client kickoff, client onboarding, issue management, issue resolution and ongoing client status and SLA reporting.  The FSA will provide expert-level “architect” expertise and have the ability to manage compliance throughout all aspects of support delivery and the technical solution life cycle.

Requirements

• 15+ years of Oracle Projects/Financials application support experience
• Prior Solution Architect and account management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Performing “Proof of Concept” studies, authoring white papers, and serve as Account Support Lead on accounts.
• Creating architectural solutions for customers
• Able to take a lead role for a product / component in customer support
• Must have multiple years and industries of actual end to end implementation experience of systems architectures.
• Translate business and customer requirements into architectural specifications
• Take ownership of a particular solution/technology segment serving multiple cross-functional processes
• Drive cross functional alignment with other functional and technical architects/analysts
• Assist in uncovering and clearly identifying prospect’s critical business needs
• Be the functional solution ambassador for your application area
• Excellent customer focus and communication with strong organizational, presentation, writing, verbal, and public speaking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, key clients, and other stakeholders, particularly on related architecture topics
• Holds a deep level of system application knowledge and expertise
•  Must have deep and broad skills and expert understanding and scope of software solutions and 3rd party product solutions.
• Able to synthesize complex topics into meaningful information and prepare materials appropriate for all business-level communications
• Flexibility, adaptability and ability to deal continuously with ambiguous situations
•  Must have excellent remote working habits, the ability to plan and execute daily work activities for customers and internal management while working remotely.
