Oracle/SQL Database Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated software engineer with technology experience and knowledge in database technologies, to help further develop our forecasting & analytics platform.
This role will be responsible for working closely with the technical leads and Product Owners to deliver & support data, analytics and reporting functionalities in the GWD platform.
The right candidate will be responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target process across the SDLC - design, build, test, deploy & support.
Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:

• Significant experience in Microsoft SQL & Oracle database programming and development is a must
• Significant development & integration experience in Microsoft database modules like SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, CUBE(Star Schema)
• Significant development & integration experience in triggering & execution mechanism such as Autosys & batch programming
• Strong development experience in end-to-end CI/CD pipeline tools such as Ansible, bitbucket, Jenkins, Datacal & Radical
• Strong experience is database optimization techniques using indexes, partitioning, stats refresh management, memory/CPU utilization analysis.
• Strong experience in design & building multiple database interconnectivity solutions using mechanisms like Link Server, Attribute type mapping/conversions-casting, etc.
• Strong experience in integration with Big Data platforms like Hadoop
• Strong Experience in triaging using large datasets for impact analysis
• Good experience in Unix/Shell programming

Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For:

• Experience is upgrading & regression testing database versions

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
• Experience working with agile methodologies

Pay and benefits information
Jersey City pay range:
$90,500 - $175,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
