Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Job Description
Qualifications:
- D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from an accredited U.S. dental school
- Completion of an accredited residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Valid state dental license and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients and their families
- Deliver exceptional patient care that upholds the highest standards of our specialty, demonstrating compassion and ethical integrity
- Collaborate effectively with the practice owner, colleagues, and staff
- Engage in continuing education and professional development to remain current with industry standards and specialty requirements
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, options, and post-operative care
- Participate in active networking and marketing efforts to promote the practice and enhance community engagement
- Ensure thorough and accurate documentation of patient care procedures and interactions
