Job Description

Upstate Oral Surgery is looking for a motivated and compassionate associate to join an awesome team as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to join a practice at the ground floor and be part of the growth for years to come. We want to work with surgeons who love oral surgery and want to hone their craft on a daily basis. The practice has a tremendous reputation in the community and we want to bring in future partners who are dedicated to the absolute best patient care. We are offering a starting salary of 400k/yr with quarterly square ups at 32% and a 50K signing bonus. This is based on a 4-day work week and the opportunity is there to produce much more. We offer PTO, malpractice, health insurance, and CE funding. The setup allows you to work at your pace and to be as busy as you want to be. We also have a large and highly trained team that has been with the practice since the beginning.

Our office is a fully digital and state-of-the-art practice with a philosophy of being on the cutting edge. We offer full-scope surgical options, including large amounts of dentoalveolar, implant, full arch, orthodontic, and pathology cases. We are currently located in a 3500 sq ft office that was newly built in 2019. We are currently building a new 8700 sq ft office that will be completed in April 2024, to allow us to accommodate a second surgeon. We daily use a Kodak 9600 3D CBCT machine, a 3 Shape digital scanner, a Sprint Ray 3D printer, wireless monitoring equipment, PRF, Bienair handpieces, and a built-in medical gas system. We design and print our own implant guides daily and perform guided implant surgery for every case. We print and manufacture our full arch temporary prosthesis in-house. We place 5 implant systems on a regular basis including zygomatic implants.

We are working with over 200 referring providers on a regular basis. This is an opportunity to come in and immediately have your books filled for months while you get to know the community and build relationships.

Watertown is 1 hour north of Syracuse and 30 minutes from the world-renowned Thousand Islands. The area is rural and beautiful. The cost of living is remarkably low compared to most of the country. This makes property and homes in the area very affordable. Fort Drum, the home of the 10th Mountain Division, is located right outside Watertown. The base brings constant new patients to the area and provides a huge economic boost to the region. We have 4 seasons and enjoy beautiful summers and falls with lots of snow and winter activities through the colder months. Lake Ontario is 15 minutes away and has excellent fishing and boating. The Adirondack Mountains are also very close with hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, and skiing. This is an awesome outdoor area with many natural beauties.
