Order Lifecycle and Purchase to Pay Process Manager

The Vendor P2P liaison will play a crucial role in monitoring and optimizing the order lifecycle and purchase to pay processes performed by our outside vendors.

As member of this team, you will interface daily with internal teams, outsourced vendors, leadership, key stakeholders, and the PayPal community.

Learn and apply your process and relationship management skills with the support of enthusiastic and dynamic leadership. This role provides the opportunity to participate in, and demonstrate, change management to improve PayPal's order lifecycle, supplier maintenance and IT service delivery areas.

Your day to day role you will:

• Manage financial commitments by the company on behalf of outsourced vendors
• Act as primary liaison between PayPal teams (Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Finance) and outside vendor management to maintain order lifecycle performance metrics
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Oversee the investigation and resolution of discrepancies in goods receiving and invoice reconciliation actions
• Monitor global forecasting of hardware and peripheral requirements of the business
• Ensure adherence to identified industry standards, SLAs and audit readiness practices
• Collaborate to improve order lifecycle workflows and SOPs
• Oversee change management strategies as they relate to outside vendor practices
• Generate regular reports to assess and communicate key performance indicators and internally cross charged finance transactions
• Manage and maintain supplier onboarding and risk management activities for the organization
• Manage and maintain hardware catalog detail
• Support ongoing direction of service and supply chain optimization efforts

What do you need to bring:

• Proven experience of at least two years in a purchasing function or order placement and maintenance role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong process management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Ariba experience a plus but not required
• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across diverse groups.
• Experience working in a global or multicultural environment is a plus
