Order Management Job Summary
Performs daily functions associated with updating and managing of customer orders, with an emphasis on Inventory Control.
Schedule is Monday - Friday. Hours are M/W/F: 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch and T/TH: 8am - 5:00pm with an hour lunch. Starting pay is $17.00/hour
Responsibilities and Duties
- Update and maintain customer orders and processing orders.
- Print forms needed for the warehouse operations.
- Serves as backup receptionist.
- Enter new customers and update existing customer information.
- Create/maintain part numbers.
- Filing, confirming pick tickets, print invoices, email paperwork.
- Retrieving paperwork, including but not limited to, PO’s, packing slips, etc.
- Analyze and prioritize material receipts within the P21 System.
- Maintain and update inventory accordingly upon receipt of all merchandise.

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum high school education or equivalent.
- Able to type accurately at a reasonable pace.
- Organized, efficient and accurate in the order entry process.
- Responsive to the needs of the organization’s service level, sales and warehouse expectations.
Physical Requirements
- This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
