In this role, you have the opportunity to
Join a team that manages the order fulfillment for our customers Imaging Systems orders. This is done by ensuring accurate configurations and timely purchase order placement to meet customers requested delivery dates.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
- Ensuring customer purchase orders submitted to Philips are documented and compliant with established business controls, policies, contractual agreements, in a timely manner, per departmental turnaround time requirements.
- Reviews and processes on the Integrated Client (SAP or Siebel) system, ensuring value alignment properties and transactions are present and appropriate for the purchase order as it pertains to the integrity of the order.
- Process Purchase Orders (PO) for accuracy and compliance with Philips terms & conditions, policies and contractual agreements.
- Validating and processing change orders, credit and debits to meet acceptable departmental turnaround times.
- Escalates issues appropriately and promptly to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
- Effectively sets priorities in order to meet commitments and established departmental goals.
- Ensures established processes are followed and adjusted when more efficient ways of working are brought forth.
- Escalates issues appropriately and promptly to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
- Active participant in LEAN initiatives through completion of Quick and Easy Kaizen initiatives &/or formal continuous improvement programs.
- Provides support and information cross functionally within the Customer Fulfillment Center, as required/requested.
- Ensures established processes in compliance with Philips' Quality Standards of business conduct and followed
- Effectively sets priorities in order to meet workload deadlines, commitments and all applicable established departmental goals.

Philips' Supply Chain Management team, which is part of the Global Business Services (GBS) hub in Nashville, TN - responsible for leading operational execution, reducing complexity, and increasing efficiencies as the in-house team that continuously improves performance to better support our customers. The Philips GBS Nashville hub has experienced significant growth in the Greater Nashville area since the original announcement of adding 800+ jobs in 2017. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Bachelor' degree and/or equivalent business experience involving general accounting principles
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition, incoterms, billing of ladings, credit holds, and sales discounts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel experience, including knowledge of pivot table and Vlookup)
- Ability to display organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to display flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
