Organic Social Media Content Creator (Contract)

Course Hero is looking for a creative Organic Social Media Content Creator [Contract] to create video content for @coursehero on Instagram, TikTok and Youtube Shorts. The ideal candidate will create and star in engaging, on-brand content tailored for college students.

If you're chronically online and love making content, this role is for you!
During the interview process, you'll present your previous work and participate in a brief ideation session. Please include examples of your previous content in your application.

Here are some ways you'll make an impact:

• Produce short-form, social-first video content for @coursehero, including storylines, filming, editing, and captions, with no reliance on big budgets or glossy production
• Appear on-screen in self-produced videos for @coursehero’s organic channels: Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Stay updated on student culture trends and research college-related topics
• Develop content ideas for weekly calendars in collaboration with the social media team, aligning with our strategy.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and content restrictions
• Adapt and refine content based on insights and feedback
• Participate in an onboarding period, attend one weekly team meeting, and participate in a regular review process

Are you our Content Creator? 

• Proven experience as a content creator for college-aged students (include examples in your application)
• Excellent filming, editing, and storytelling skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing deadlines effectively
• Creative mindset
• Interest in college life and/or college-level studies (current college student status not required)

Compensation: 

• $500+ per successfully completed deliverable
• Deliverable-based, Choose-Your-Own-Hours model
• 1-3 weekly deliverables from September 20, 2024, to December 10, 2024
