MITRE's Human and Organizational Systems (HOS) department works in partnership with our federal sponsors and other stakeholders by providing deep technical capabilities and subject matter expertise to align people, processes, and technology-related changes to achieve strategic outcomes. Our department members work across MITRE's programs and sponsors (civilian, DOD, Intel), supporting short-term, targeted organizational change projects and large-scale, complex enterprise transformation programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development of Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies that provide people-centric approaches for transitioning from the current operating environment to the desired future state
  • Identifying key stakeholders, conducting stakeholder assessments, and developing engagement strategies and plans
  • Developing communications strategies and plans to ensure consistent, timely, and relevant messaging with affected stakeholders
  • Supporting the design and implementation of organizational assessments, including analysis of findings and development of recommendations
  • Contributing to the design of and participating in presentations and working sessions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, to include subject matter experts, cross-disciplinary project management teams, and functional partners

Required for consideration:

  • Must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 + years' professional experience in Organizational Change Management, Change Management, Organizational Development, Project Management, Operations Management, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Qualitative and quantitative data analysis and translating/communicating findings to inform decisions
    • Developing strategies (e.g., organizational change management, communication, stakeholder engagement)
    • Developing and delivering effective presentations
    • Working with teams and building effective working relationships across diverse groups of stakeholders
    • Being adaptable and working in ambiguous situations
    • Using Microsoft Office applications
    • Communicating effectively orally and in writing
    • Applying data visualization techniques

  • Must be willing to obtain high-level clearances (e.g., TS, SCI) if required to meet sponsor needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS, MBA, or PhD
  • Professional Sciences (Prosci) Change Management Certification, CCMP certification; experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model is a plus
  • Experience with business innovation processes and approaches (e.g., Design Thinking)
  • Familiarity with and interest in emerging technologies, such as AI, Blockchain, Quantum Computing
  • Management consulting experience
  • Familiarity with multiple federal agencies/departments
  • Leading groups/teams
