Slalom's Westchester and Southern Connecticut office is seeking an Organizational Effectiveness (OE) leader to drive the growth and success of our local OE practice area. The ideal candidate will be a strong consulting leader with over 12 years of related work experience and proven success in a consulting practice leadership role. Our capability focus is in three areas: Organizational Transformation, Change Acceleration, and Talent Optimization, all leveraging Human Center Design principles and Agile ways of working.

As Westchester and Southern Connecticut is a newer market within Slalom, there is a unique opportunity for this role to own and directly contribute to the direction and growth of the practice as well as that of the overall office. You will be responsible for the development, growth, and quality execution of all our local OE practitioners and capabilities. You will also be accountable for other practice-related activities including business development, client relationship management, sales, recruiting, account management, project oversight and practice operations.

Responsibilities for the role will include:
• Driving the overall growth of the OE practice area through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work and thought leadership
• Leading business development activities and leveraging professional contacts to increase Slalom Brand awareness and ultimately engage Slalom to provide consulting services
• Maximizing team performance through a highly collaborative approach that generates high client and Slalom team satisfaction
• Managing engagement risks across the OE portfolio, practice economics including planning and budgeting, defining proposals and deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from senior client management
• Enriching Slalom's culture and exemplifying our core values on a day-to-day basis. Ensuring these values are engrained within the OE practice
• Demonstrating a mastery in leading/overseeing projects within the domain of Organizational Effectiveness
• Identifying opportunities for growth/maturation of practice offerings, and set the direction for that growth
• Maintaining awareness of industry best practices and business levers for OE offering(s) and understanding how the different Slalom practice areas interact (locally and nationally)

Requirements
• 12+ years of experience in consulting (or similar role within a global organization) and previous experience leading and growing a practice
• Proven history of leveraging and growing a client base; organic business development responsibilities
• Expert people management and business operations skills (SOWs, practice area financials, utilization)
• Ability to manage teams and relationships across multiple clients
• Ability to assess and leverage strengths of a diverse group of people to maximize team performance, and proven success growing people
• Proven negotiation, conflict management, problem solving and decision-making skills
