Orthopedic Surgeon

Essentia Health – Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Opportunity for a fellowship- trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established, and growing team within a stable, clinician- led organization.

• Practice includes Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, and Orthopedic Trauma with 2 full-time surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians 
• Expectation of clinic/surgery and outreach to Park Rapids, MN and Fosston, MN.
• Primary Orthopedic Call is covered by an Advanced Practice Clinician with surgeons providing secondary call. Primary Access to PACS system and EMR from home
• Collaboration with orthopedic teams at Essentia Health facilities in Fargo, ND & Duluth, MN.
• Robust physical therapy and occupational therapy departments 
• Affiliated Essentia Health hospital employs dedicated/fulltime ED and hospitalist physicians

• Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area with a population of 8,500
• Conveniently located one hour from Fargo and three hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul 
• Regional Service area consists of 7 clinics and 1 hospital
