OSI-PI Consultant

Infosys is seeking OSI-PI Consultant This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Design Real-time data solutions using OSISoft PI Tools, Asset Framework, Event frames, Pi Notifications and PI Asset Analytics
Installation and configuration of PI Server, AF Server and other OSI PI Suit of products
Installation and configuration of different types of interfaces (PI OPC DA, OPC HDA, PI to PI, PI UFL and PI RDBMS) and connectors as per requirements
Creation of AF Element templates and AF Elements
Creation/modification of PI tags
Configuration of PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications
Creation of PI displays (PI Vision/Process Book) and PI Datalink reports
Experience with PI data integration using PI Interfaces and good understanding of PI security
Experience working with Agile Projects
Troubleshooting of issues related to PI Server, PI Interfaces, AF Server and PI Client tools

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in Mining/Oil & Gas Industry or any process industry
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Interact and communicate with onsite/offshore team for hand/takeover of activities across different time zones.
Candidates should have very good communication skills and should be able to communicate independently to Mosaic team

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
