OSP Project Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for performing a variety of coordination and support tasks associated with fiber network construction projects nationwide. This position will support multiple project directors/managers and may report to the VP of Operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
● Permit application processing, including reviewing for accuracy, scanning & routing documents, payment requests, etc.
● Maintaining project records, including reviewing for accuracy, scanning, and upload to the company database
● Preparing and presenting periodic project status updates to customers (written and/or oral)
● Coordinating site access with customers
● Reviewing contractor deliverables, such as drawings, maps, photos, and test results
● Vendor invoice processing and updating capital budget records
● Preparing project close-out packages for customers
● Limited travel +/-10%
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
● 2+ years’ work experience in a project management or coordinator role
● Strong technical educational and work background
● Experience interfacing with local permitting entities, engineering/construction companies preferred
● BS degree in engineering, GIS, mathematics or business management preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS
● Professional demeanor and ease of interfacing with customers, suppliers, and local governmental entities
● Strong organizational skills
● Detail-oriented
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Excel, Google Maps, Google Earth
