OSS Consulting Partner

The role requires an experienced OSS/BSS Consultant who can provide advisory and consultation on Next Gen OSS transformation to C-Level Execs to provide innovative solutions to business problems. He/She will be responsible for strategic level identifying leads and opportunities as well as taking the role of technologist & evangelist in engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as telecom industry expert solutions providing outside in views of latest trends in the industry and its impact on OSS/BSS supporting next generation OSS/BSS, orchestration, networking products, solutions, and offerings
• Be responsible for encouraging deep client business and technical relationships with C-suite, decision-makers, and influencers.
• Manage the clients innovation agenda, around strategic TCS offerings, technology and platforms
• Provide expertise around 5G, OSS/BSS Impacts and identify Opportunities around Network Monetization through B2B Partnerships and Solutions
• Work closely with the client to gather business issues/ opportunities while partnering with sales and delivery team members, subject matter experts, vendors, partners etc. to design a holistic client solution and system architecture
• Understand and articulate business value of modern and emerging technologies
• Assist Senior leadership team to design technology, process landscape and develop overall solution strategy

Qualifications:

• Preferably a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ IT/ Telecom Engineering etc. or any equivalent degree/experiences. Masters degree would be advantageous
• Minimum 20 years experience in Sales or Consulting roles
• 10+ years' experience of working in platform/ network/ cloud architecture or OSS/automation stream in the telecommunications industry
• Prior consulting experience with large consulting firm or serving as an internal consultant in industry
• Demonstrable experience in pre-sales and history of closing large break-in deals
• Well versed in Enterprise/ Solution Architecture within the Cloud and OSS ( Operations Support Systems) space
• Experience leading large operations transformation engagements within the Telecom Networks space
• Excellent in Market Research, Competitive Intelligence and proficient in Portfolio Development and management
• Determined and self-motivated, someone who can lead and run independently
• Organizational Change and Transformation skills

• Portfolio depth & expertise in area of responsibility
• Charging, Billing, Mediation, Order Care, Catalog
• Network Planning , Engineering, Service Fulfillment , Service Assurance and Field Operations
• Customer & Network Analytics, Closed loop Assurance
• Working level understanding of NFVI and CaaS, 5G Monetization
• Knowledge of Sales Process and Service Delivery Process
• At least 10-15yrs management / strategy consulting experience
• Experience of leading OSS / BSS transformation projects
• Experience of Process transformation
• Experience of business process re-engineering
• Understanding or certifications of eTom, TOGAF, NGOSS
• Extensive relationships / contacts at C-LEVEL within service providers regionally
• Sales and business development skills
• Excellent understanding of Telecom Networks (LTE, 5G, Wireline), OSS Platforms/ Tools, Clo ud & DevOps
• Solid core consulting skills (, Executive Presentation, Client Interviewing, Program Management, etc.)
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Experience in assisting Senior leadership team to design technology, process landscape and develop overall solution strategy
• Understanding of next-generation Private and Public (i.e., RedHat, VMWare, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google) Cloud Platform design and architecture
• Ability to design OSS / automation architecture for multi-cloud strategy, IaaS, PaaS, and Container technologies
• Desirable knowledge on Mobile Technologies (LTE, 5G, O-RAN etc.) and Edge computing/Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC)
