As part of a tax information reporting solution offered to our clients, the Client Engagement Services Analyst assists ONESOURCE Tax Information Reporting (OTIR) clients in meeting their tax reporting and compliance needs by performing all agreed upon services as indicated in their service agreement.

This position is responsible for reviewing client data and the preparation of client tax returns in accordance with established compliance deadlines.

About the Role

In this opportunity as OTIR Client Engagement Analyst, you will:

  • Point of contact for OTIR client to process and submit all required direct state filings throughout the year.
  • Preparation of custom and standard reports for customer review.
  • Provide confirmation information back to client that all direct state filings were submitted as required.
  • Research and maintain direct state filing information and update/prepare documentation that can be reviewed by OTIR Client Engagement Team.
  • Assist other OTIR Client Engagement team members with direct state filing.
  • Available to work extended hours and weekends, specifically during deadline and peak processing periods.
  • Must be able to work in Dallas office location when processing/mailing of direct state filings is required.
  • Travel requirements: 0 - 5%

About You

You're a fit for the role of OTIR Client Engagement Analyst if your background includes:

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and account management skills, plus customer retention awareness skills
  • Outsourcing or Vendor Partner service experience
  • 1099 and Information return industry experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of ONESOURCE Tax Information Reporting products and services, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or accounting related areas
  • Intermediate to expert level experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Computer certifications or skills, preferred
  • Builds effective working relationships across teams
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written, including meeting facilitation and presentation skills
