Duties • Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently over long distances • Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition across regional and nationwide routes • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while complying with DOT regulations • Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment • Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, any incidents that occur during transport, and ELD system-based paperwork • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and support staff • Adhere to company policies and federal/state transportation laws regarding commercial driving Qualifications • Having a truck is a must • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being driven. • Verifiable driving history. • No DOT-recordable/preventable accident in past 12 months. • No serious violations in past 36 months, including reckless driving or careless endangerment. • No DUI in past 72 months. • Overall safe driving record. • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Good communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and other team members.
