Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience. We are looking for someone who loves code and enjoys the beauty of a well-designed and architected solution. This individual should be passionate about building great software, working with a dynamic and forward-thinking team, and building exciting products that can make a positive impact on the world.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Design, develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter, TypeScript, RDMS
• Assist in the development of a mobile social media application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met within the given timeline and budget.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
• Ensure that software meets all functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, and accessibility.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES

• Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis
• Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
• Dresses Professionally

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience
• 10+ years of experience in application development using Objective-C, React Native, TypeScript, Flutter, or C#
• Strong knowledge of mobile development best practices, including UX/UI design principles and mobile-specific considerations
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Flutter/DART, C#, and related tools and frameworks
• Proficiency in Database systems preferably Postgres or MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including SOLID principles, OOD design principles, design patterns, etc.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway preferred but not required
• Experience with Azure services preferred but not required

• Identify and troubleshoot bugs and issues and provide timely solutions.
• Contribute to fostering a positive and productive team culture.
• Work with others to develop team best practices and standards.
