The Team You’ll Work With
As a member of the Vauban from Carta team, you will help build out a fast-growing product in the Carta Venture Capital ecosystem and bring SPV and fund admin solutions to investors around the globe.
As an Outbound Sales Representative on the Vauban from Carta team, you will launch targeted outreach campaigns to angel investors, startup founders, and emerging VC fund managers daily in an effort to streamline their back-office operations. We pride ourselves on investing in our team and promoting from within. All OBRs receive training on Carta software, private market finance, and VC operations along with ongoing training in consultative sales, client management, negotiation and sales operations.Â
The Problems You’ll SolveÂ
This role will have a specific focus on supporting the sales integration for the recent acquisition of Vauban. This is a unique opportunity to help build out a fast-growing product in the Carta Venture Capital ecosystem and bring SPV admin solutions to investors around the globe
- Prospect - Engage with companies who reach out to Vauban with interest via our website, LinkedIn, and in-product
- Outreach - Execute a thoughtful, "every lead matters" cold outreach campaign to investors in the venture space
- Collaborate - Work with Vauban Account Executives to secure meetings and follow deals through closeÂ
The Impact You’ll Have
You’ll engage with angel investors, founders, and VCs to intimately understand their business and how Vauban from Carta can help streamline their investment operations. Carta SDRs become masters of opening doors in the venture community.
About You
- At least one year of professional experience
- The ambition and hope to achieve goals and advance a career in sales is preferred
- Strong problem solving skills
- Proven ability to execute in a fast paced, team environment with excellent time management
- Excellent emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
- Articulate, poised, and concise
- Customer-Facing Experience (direct prospecting experience is a plus)Â
- Track record of success in a lead generation role is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, institutional investing, or wealth management is a plus
