Outpatient Internal Medicine Opportunity

MercyOne North Iowa has an excellent opportunity for a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join a practice located in Forest City, Iowa.

The selected candidate will join another Internal Medicine physician, three Advanced Practice Providers and a tenured team of RNs and office staff supporting our busy outpatient clinic. Provider will also support the clinic with call (1:5-6 weeks).

Lab, x-ray, EKG, occupational health, rehabilitation, cardiology, podiatry, general surgery, and behavioral services- individual and family counseling are all available through MercyOne. Telemedicine and teleradiology also available.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
• Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible.
• Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges.
• Above average communication skills.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
