Outreach Specialist

Seeking LGBTQ+ sensitive staff that can assist with in person and online screening for HIV and other social determinants of health support. Conducts rapid HIV testing in community-based settings or at MMG locations. Supports linkage to care by escorting patients from a community-based location, ensuring the greatest impact on reducing new HIV infections. Supports PROMISE intervention activities, condom distribution and, navigation and referrals for Essential Supportive Services (ESS). Ability to locate and support venues for prevention events and activities, where venues can provide confidential spaces for HIV testing and address safety protocols & procedures in the field during outreach & testing events. Performs enhanced LGBTQ focused Social Media outreach.

This position is 100% Grant Funded

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Associates Degree preferred
• At least one year of work experience required
