This role is a high-energy, field-based sales opportunity focused on building strong client relationships and driving new business growth within the merchant services and payments industry. You will act as a trusted advisor to small and medium-sized businesses, helping them adopt payment processing solutions that improve efficiency and profitability. Working closely with a referral banking partner network, you will leverage warm leads while also developing your own pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship building. The position blends consultative selling, account development, and territory management in a performance-driven environment. You will be responsible for delivering compelling product presentations, identifying customer needs, and closing new business opportunities. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening referral partnerships, and expanding merchant services adoption across your assigned territory. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing while ensuring strong client engagement and long-term account growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to generate consistent referral flow and new business leads.
- Identify, pursue, and close new merchant services accounts for small and medium-sized businesses.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to communicate solution value and benefits.
- Maintain and update Salesforce CRM with accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and sales reporting.
- Develop a strong understanding of payment processing products, services, and market needs.
- Establish and manage a referral network and structured outreach/call program to drive pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams and follow manager guidance to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- 2–3 years of relevant sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B or financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and close deals.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools is preferred.
- Willingness to travel 3–4 days per week within the assigned market.

Requirements:
