Outside Sales Rep

Rogue Valley Times, a digital and print media organization committed to "digital first, then print" coverage of Medford, Oregon and the surrounding area, is looking for a highly motivated & self-driven Sales Representative to join our sales team. The role of a media sales executive is to sell advertising space to clients and manage the relationship with these - including by working with colleagues to ensure that the design and placement of the adverts meet the wishes of the client.

Must have a strong sales background, preferably in the print/digital media industry Willing to train the right candidate.• Main duties will include meeting with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and telling clients about new products, updates and features.• Be knowledgeable about the product • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs• Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems• Answer questions about the products• Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements• Maintain contact lists in CRM and follow up with customers to continue relationships• Ability to meet sales goals and quotas

This position is a full-time position, typically working Monday through Friday during business hours, with occasional evening or weekend events.
