Role and Team

• As an Outside Sales Representative, you will actively hunt for growth opportunities to drive our business forward. You will establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships to understand customer needs and provide the right mix of ADESA products and services to meet those needs. You will contribute to and enjoy the rewards of success in an innovative atmosphere, as a valued member of our ADESA community.

Responsibilities

• Actively pursue and engage with prospects
• Generate new business leads and close deals
• Effectively execute ADESA’s Dealer Sales strategy
• Prospect, upsell, and manage accounts to ensure growth in vehicles sold and purchased
• Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services
• Maximize technology
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Outside Sales experience.
• Territory management experience.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.

• The physical activity requirements of the position range from Light to Medium Physical Work. 
  • Frequent – standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking

Physical Working Conditions

This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
