Outside Technology Sales

Position: Business Development Manager

LaTech Security + Surveillance, the leading Surveillance and Access Control Integrator in Louisiana, is looking for an experienced outside sales representative to join our growing sales team. Technical sales requires two proficiencies:

1. Product knowledge - To build trust and value for prospects and clients, we must understand the challenges our clients experience and how our solutions truly help them grow and protect their organization. Our team has regular training sessions to keep everyone up to date on how to serve their clients.
2. Sales IQ - to be trusted by our clients and our teammates, we need to understand and build our selling proficiencies. Latech does not use the old-school sales techniques of the past that were all about pressuring reps and prospects. We train and grow our team in methods that build trust with our prospects while ensuring everyone is on the same page and has clear next steps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge, preferably in the networking, video surveillance, and access control arenas.
• Outside sales experience and success
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Ability and interest in building value for prospects, clients, and teammates

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with our Sales Development Reps to prospect appropriate verticals and create appointments
• Prospect into high value targets
• Perform site surveys and product demonstrations
• Attend industry trade shows and follow up with leads
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales

Logistics:

• Compensation includes base salary + commissions + benefits
• Benefits include Insurance (health, dental, vision), retirement account with matching funds, cell phone allowance, and car allowance.
• Office hours are 8:30 to 5:00.
• Some remote work allowed depending on circumstances
