Withum’s Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) team is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Consultant to join our growing team in our Irvine or Encino office.

Our clients range from large organizations that prefer not to staff and manage an accounting department, to smaller entities or startups that need a 360-degree approach to direction and support.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Supervising staff accountant and clerks 
• Reviewing and approving payments to vendors / contractors 
• Reviewing and approving payroll 
• Handling month end close process 
• Review and approve all proposed JEs
• Review all reconciliations for Balance sheet accounts
• Performing Monthly Financial Reporting including FS, narratives and dashboards
• Budgeting / Cash flow forecasting 
• Working with Leadership of organizations
• Facilitating outside annual audits 
• Ensuring proper internal controls and enhancement of processes

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
• 2-4 years of accounting experience.  
• Outstanding communication skills 
• Preferably experience with Intacct, QBO and/or NetSuite Accounting System. 
• Willingness to travel to client sites

 The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in California please see below. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. California/Washington State ranges are from $70,000 - $78,000
