As an Overdraft Consideration Specialist with Frost, you will be responsible for assuming the role of a portfolio consultant by placing calls to Frost customers in an attempt to collect balances and to retain their account. Responsibilities will include making outbound calls with customers in overdraft status according to established guidelines and logging notes on system; drafting all correspondence and answering inbound calls from customers and bankers inquiring about the Courtesy Overdraft Account program; notifying authorized bank personnel of accounts at risk to be closed (30 days overdrawn); updating and maintaining account files, including eligibility status and account activity on program participants, including reviewing and adjusting any rejected payments; and creating entries to charge-off balances after a designated extension period has been exceeded, with supervisor approval. The candidate will evaluate the customer's financial situation and negotiate full payment or create terms of repayment.
Required:
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of banking experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills and interpersonal skills
- Multi-task oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Preferred:
- 2+ years banking experience
- Knowledge of existing bank systems
- Previous call center experience with Frost
