At Inner Valor, we provide top-tier security solutions to protect people and critical facilities. We are seeking professional and detail-oriented Overnight Security Officers to manage access control and security screening at a medical facility in downtown Chicago.

Key Responsibilities:
β’ Monitor access points, verify credentials, and enforce entry policies for staff, visitors, and vendors.
β’ Conduct security screenings to prevent unauthorized items from entering the facility.
β’ Patrol hospital premises to deter suspicious activity and ensure a secure environment.
β’ Respond immediately to emergencies, including disturbances, medical incidents, and potential security threats.
β’ Work closely with medical staff and law enforcement to maintain a safe and compliant facility.
β’ Assist in fire safety, emergency evacuations, and crisis response procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
β’ Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
β’ Reliable transportation and ability to work overnight shifts.
β’ Must pass a background check, drug test, and security screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ PERC card & 20-hour Basic Security Training certification.
β’ Prior healthcare security or access control experience.
β’ CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).

β’ Frequent standing, walking, and patrolling for long periods, including climbing steps and navigating inclines.
β’ Occasionally reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as required by security procedures.
β’ Possessing the ability to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in high-pressure environments.
β’ Ability to navigate narrow hallways, staircases, and confined spaces when necessary.
β’ Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 10 pounds frequently, with occasional movement of up to 25 pounds.
