Job Description

As an Owned Media Planner in the Customer and Activation function, you contribute to added customer value, a strong brand, and increased sales by developing and implementing customer-centric communication strategies across all owned marketing channels. The role will work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, driving omni sales performance and brand health growth.

This hybrid role reports into our Digital Media Manager and is based out of New York, NY.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*

  • Plan and optimize email, push, and SMS marketing campaigns to drive omnichannel customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Develop segmented campaigns and personalized content based on customer behavior and preferences, and partner with CRM & Testing Analyst to bring CRM strategies as well as test & learn hypotheses to life across owned channels
  • Work closely with the Digital, Merchandising, and broader Customer Activation teams to align owned media efforts with the commercial plan (campaign launches, store events, expansion, promotions, and seasonal collaborations)
  • Collaborate with Content Operations team to ensure smooth delivery and fulfillment of all owned media campaigns, including participation in copy review process to confirm that communication is fresh and aligned with campaign objectives
  • Conduct internal and competitive reviews to identify areas of opportunity across owned channels, proposing innovative ideas to enhance customer experience and increase engagement and ROI
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to continuously improvement owned marketing strategies


Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, media, or CRM roles
  • Deep understanding of email, push, and store marketing
  • Experience with planning activity calendars
  • Competence within digital/tech and omni ways of working preferred
  • Strategic thinker with broad marketing, media, and brand strategy skills
  • Highly analytical, structured, organized, and efficient
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with deep familiarity of H&M tone of voice
  • Inclusive, positive, open to feedback, willing to multitask and learn on the job

Compensation: salary range is $98,957 - $111,326 annually**
