Package Consultant: SAP Ariba

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Ariba Lead Consultant is expected to perform and or lead the design implementation and deployment of SAP Ariba On-Demand solutions both Upstream (Sourcing Contracts etc.) and Downstream (Procure to Pay Invoicing Ariba Procurement Content etc.). In this role you will have the following responsibilities: Combine Source to Pay process expertise with knowledge of Ariba applications to articulate and present Supply Chain solutions to clients at the client management level. Help IBM’s clients to transform their Supply Chains to world class level using Ariba applications. Perform and Lead teams in translating client requirements into to/be designs that leverage the best practices embedded with in Ariba applications. Participate / Lead the configuration testing and deployment of Ariba solutions. Participate in sales opportunities by conducting opportunity assessments answering functional questions regarding Ariba’s software and providing Ariba focused sales materials. Act as an ambassador to the IBM Ariba community through knowledge sharing mentoring and networking

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall 12 plus years of SAP Consulting experience and as a Package Consultant at IBM get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives
• Lead the technical design and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity amplification and maintainability.
• Work from strategy development to solution implementation using your knowledge of SAP and working with the latest technologies.
• Partner with a cross-functional global team to ensure customer success in an agile environment.
• Ariba Commerce Automation – should have worked on development projects only.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge and experience in implementation planning fit analysis configuration testing rollout and post-implementation support of SAP ARIBA.
• Perform and Lead teams in translating client requirements into to/be designs that leverage the best practices embedded with in Ariba applications. Participate / Lead the configuration testing and deployment of Ariba solutions
• Experience in working with teams to prioritize work and drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs around sourcing and procurement activities
