Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Package Consultant at IBM get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills business knowledge and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Specifically you will:

• Support the translation of client business requirements into SCM solutions including requirements approval communication traceability and reuse
• Contribute to the transfer of functional requirements to development and test teams
• Stay abreast on updates and new releases in SCM technologies
• Provide end user classroom training on the configured SCM functionalities before go-live and individual training during hyper-care after the cut-over
• Identify develop and deploy end-user solutions in SCM systems. Use your deep domain knowledge and familiarity with the SCM platform you will ensure that client business requirements are met while providing a variety of advisory services around project management business process development implementation support and end-user training.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1 or more full life cycle SCM project implementations
• 2+ years of experience implementing and working SCM solution
• Good working knowledge of SCM solution including all related data model and planning algorithms
• Experience defining systems strategy developing systems requirements designing prototyping testing training defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 5 years consulting experience
• SCM Solution Certification
• 1 year project experience working with global and offshore project team
