Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a full-time Packer in our Small Order Packing (SOP) department to contribute to our Operations team in Fort Wayne, IN.

Schedule:

• Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Plus daily and/or weekend overtime (including Sundays), when necessary

Starting Pay: $15.50/hour

Eligible for pay increase after 120 days!

What You’ll Do:

• Check for damages and verifies data on customer order including entry number and number of books while packing order
• Determine the proper packing method for various size orders to arrange books in the most compact manner onto corrugated cardboard boxes, t-boards, or flats according to allowable weights for method of shipping
• Push completed orders onto conveyor to continue through shrink wrap machinery

Qualifications

• 6 months continuous work experience
• 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard
