We are looking for an experienced Pad Print Operator to join the team.

Full Job Description:

• Operate pad printers and proprietary imaging equipment.
• Set up and prepare jobs for printing.
• Understanding printing job requirements by studying job specifications.
• Load, position, and adjust un-printed materials on hold fixtures and feeding mechanisms.
• Adjust image position. Color quality and resolution. Monitor the quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Ability to mix and match paint colors to match provided proof.
• Correctly determine any printing issue and able to troubleshoot the issue independently without supervision.
• Minimize downtime by troubleshooting breakdowns and calling for maintenance assistance when necessary.
• Shutting-down printers in proper ways.
• Communicate with the management team regarding printing issues and progress.
• Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy to specifications, and external defects.
• Maintain operating consumables to ensure adequate supplies for daily jobs.
• Obtain product measurements and use these measurements to center and align in proper positions and sequences on machines, using gauges and hand tools.
• Use time efficiently for productivity.
• General cleanliness of the machine.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Knowledge of standard setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment without supervision.
• Knowledge of pad print equipment with the ability to set up, operate, and make adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
• Knowledge of color theory and ability to make adjustments and color corrections when operating the equipment to produce the imaging to customer specifications.
• Knowledgeable about routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• 2+ years of industry experience in pad printer operation and repair (installation, replacement, or daily check). General pad printer mechanical experience.
• Ability to multi-task, stop and start tasks and change the priority on short notice as needed.
• Must be able to compare printed proofs and color match.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs of material.
• Standing for prolonged periods.
• Problem-Solving oriented.
• High attention to detail.
• High self-motivation and eagerness to learn.
