ROLE SUMMARY:

The Paid Media Manager will play a pivotal role in driving strategy across our acquisition channels, with an emphasis on paid social and affiliate. This role will develop and drive strategy for our paid media channels, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, affiliate networks and other emerging channels. 

The Manager will be responsible for managing the Paid Media Specialist role as well as the day-to-day campaign execution, optimization, targeting, creative strategy, and reporting. The Manager will also work cross-functionally to keep teams informed of the overall paid acquisition strategy, lead creative briefs, troubleshoot tracking and pixels, and help to identify new growth opportunities.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and own global paid social strategy and affiliate networks to align with overall business goals and initiatives
  • Execute paid social and affiliate campaigns from start to finish. Own targeting strategy, build + track + optimize + report on ads for both brand awareness, consideration and direct response campaigns.
  • Drive A/B and multivariate testing programs to continually improve performance across the marketing funnel including but not limited to bidding strategies, creative testing, and landing page optimization
  • Analyze campaign performance with regular data analysis to measure KPIs, trends, and provide meaningful insights
  • Identify areas of improvement and propose actionable solutions across campaigns and channels to improve paid social media ROI/ROAS/LTV
  • Work with internal and external teams to help develop and implement cross-collaborative paid social campaigns
  • Bolster Facebook Commerce Manager shopping catalog feed and campaigns
  • Identify competitor strategy initiatives DSC can leverage in the marketplace
  • Assist with omni-channel reporting for full funnel measurement
  • Maintain the most-up-to-date knowledge of best practices, alphas, betas, and strategies
  • Recommend, plan, and conduct testing opportunities to improve ROI/ROAS
  • Maintain the most-up-to-date knowledge of best practices, alphas, betas, and strategies
  • Develop and lead strategy to drive incremental revenue across new and existing member base through emerging channels and tactics (ie. Influencers, TikTok, Shopping)
  • Help expand on growth opportunities to drive DTC revenue growth (ie. Influencers, Direct Mail)
  • Facilitate new partner onboarding processes (NDA, DSA, IO review, etc)
  • Create briefs for Creative + Product Team to receive new assets to use within ads, and own feedback loops with Project Managers/designers as well as Legal team
  • Collaborate with Audience Strategy stakeholders on initiatives to help increase revenue across new and existing member base
  • Clearly communicate between Acquisition Team, Strategic Analysis, Member Strategy + Engagement Team on campaign changes & performance
  • When needed, work with Data/Info Systems Team to troubleshoot platform pixels
  • Reconcile monthly spend with Finance/Accounts Payable Team
  • Work with 3rd party partners to drive performance, including third-party creative agencies, other paid social platforms, or affiliate/incentivized traffic agencies
  • Manage day-to-day creative, tracking, and reporting requests
  • Manage Paid Media Specialist to assist with affiliate and international paid media efforts
  • Collaborate with Paid Media Specialist to maximize channel efficiency as well as identify new and emerging opportunities
  • Coach Paid Media Specialist to become an expert in DTC acquisition efforts across Meta, TikTok, Snap and affiliate networks

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing or Finance
  • 5+ years in related field, E-commerce and agency experience preferred
  • Digital media buying experience required, Affiliate network experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of paid social and other digital marketing channels (SEM, Display, Video, Native, Affiliates, Email, etc.) and the media buying ecosystem
  • Proven success with direct response and e-commerce brands or companies
  • Facebook Commerce Manager experience
  • Strong understanding of standard media metrics (CPM, CPV, CPA, and CTR) and the full customer cycle (Retention, Churn, LTV, etc.)
  • Familiar with cohorts and audience segmentation applied to targeting or ad personalization
  • Understanding of media attribution
  • Proficient with Facebook Ads Manager, Snap Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Tableau etc.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively within deadlines and manage time and priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time exempt position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a hybrid role for our Headquarters in Marina Del Rey.

SALARY:

$100,000-$123,600
