Paid Media Senior Strategist

The Socium team is looking for innovative problem solvers to join our growing Paid Media team as a Paid Media Senior Strategist in which you can own Paid Media strategy while continuing to innovate and forge a path within the Paid Media. We are seeking agile individuals who have a passion for Paid Media and are looking for engaging challenges that will help shape the digital landscape for our clients and the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to speak directly to clients, devise strategy, and handle aspects of account/client ownership. That means you’ll be responsible for planning the overall strategy and setting the pace and cadence of client communication.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day paid search and paid social operations for clients that could span across multiple verticals
• Fully managing and taking sole “ownership” of at least one client within the first two months, depending on business needs
• Lead weekly touchpoint and strategy calls for your clients
• In time, manage a team continuously driving towards strategic goals
• Manage and train team members to help them grow and achieve their own personal and professional goals
• Collaborate across the team to help create blended paid media strategies that has the client’s KPI and goals as the north star
• Discuss advanced concepts in a clear and concise manner to a wide range of audience comprehension levels, communication and presentation skills at this level must be well developed
• Play an integral role as a team member on a number of our larger accounts that spend over $500k/mo

Skills & Experience

• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (there is a reason this is the first bullet—it is our most important qualification)
• 2-3 years of experience in a day to day management of paid media accounts
• Analytical thinker- always asking the “why” and not afraid to speak up
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and formulas to help drive efficiencies for day-to-day tasks. Pivot tables, Vlookups, SUMIFS, are your jam
• Strong experience running Paid Social campaigns on Facebook/Instagram
• Strong experience running Paid Search campaigns on Google/Bing

Plusses (but not required)

• E-commerce & direct response experience
• Experience running Google Shopping campaigns
• Understanding of product feeds and the important components that go into each
• Experience creating new internal company processes to improve workflows

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 - $85,000
• Eligibility into Socium’s profit sharing program (up to $31,500 a year)
