As the Digital Marketing Specialist/Paid Media Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of our paid digital campaign strategy across multiple channels with a focus on SEM. The role requires creativity, a solid understanding of digital advertising platforms (including Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, & Facebook), great copy writing skills, and capable of making data-driven decisions.

This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution and optimization of our SEM campaigns (e.g. Google AdWords, Bing)
• Be involved in keyword selection and audience targeting
• Support the development and management of our digital marketing strategies across multiple channels including digital paid media and email.
• Maximize advertising spend while tracking and maintaining budgets
• Design and optimize high converting landing pages.
• Report on campaign performance and provide recommendations to optimize results.
• Assist the content and creative team in developing high performing assets.
• Stay up to date on the latest digital platform trends

Required Skills & Experience

• Creative, analytical, and self-starter
• 2+ years marketing experience
• A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Google's, LinkedIn's, & Facebook's advertising platforms (Bing is an asset)
• Self-learner who's always looking to go beyond best practices and discover new ones
• Excellent copy writing skills
• Experience writing short & snappy advertising copy
• Strong analytical skills and experience building detailed reports/dashboards
• Self-motivated and results oriented
• Experience with marketing tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, & Drift is an asset
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts
• Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, WebTrends etc.)
