What are we looking for?
BetterHelp is looking for a smart, ambitious and analytical Paid Search Analyst to be responsible for our paid advertising campaigns with the goal of reaching more clients. This role is all about growth and optimization achieved by leveraging data to make actionable marketing decisions. This individual will also take part in setting the overall marketing strategy by providing feedback and actively sharing data, results and ideas.
What will you do?
- Plan, deploy, develop, maintain, monitor, expand, analyze and optimize paid media campaigns with multi-million dollar spend
- Design and launch A/B tests around ad copy and targeting
- Work with legal to ensure compliance with an ever changing framework of regulatory requirements
- Leverage a variety of complex data sources to seek, identify and evaluate innovative opportunities for campaign growth and improvement
- Continually strive for higher volume and margins with ongoing optimization
- Maintain steady high performance by frequently monitoring campaign results and promptly respond with appropriate adjustments
- Collaborate actively with marketing, product, designers and engineers to drive growth and optimization
- Analyze various algorithms, techniques, and statistical models for predictions in a dynamic data environment
- Optimize the landing page and funnel experiences to improve traction and conversion

Can I work remotely?
Yes. We operate in Pacific Time and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We also ask our employees to travel to our Mountain View, CA office up to six times per year to collaborate in person in order to build better working relationships and experience our in-office culture. Travel expenses will be covered and reasonable accommodations will be made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.
Requirements
- BSc/MA in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, or Engineering
- One year or more of work experience in digital marketing with familiarity in paid search concepts
- Ability to analyze an enormous amount of complex data, and deliver meaningful conclusions that can be turned into actionable decisions
- Solid knowledge of statistics and experimentation (P-value, significance, correlation vs causation)
- Ability to proactively seek, identify and evaluate new innovative opportunities for campaign growth and improvement
- Great grasp of numbers with love for data and analytics
- Tech savvy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills(oral and written), attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in the US, to travel to our Mountain View, California offices up to six times per year and to an additional company offsite.
- Spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- SQL experience
- Coding experience (Python/R)

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus, RSUs, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2023. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
