Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Search Engine Marketing Manager (SEM) oversees Paid Search Marketing efforts for a fast growing, well established window treatment company. This individual must be Google AdWords Certified and must thrive in fast paced, quickly evolving environments that require extreme attention to detail. Ideal candidate is familiar with all Google/Bing advertising tactics. Candidate must be able to coordinate across multiple vendors and resources, organizing many moving parts into a fine tuned and well planned strategy and timeline. This position is currently in a hybrid format reporting to our headquarters in Irvine every Tuesday and Wednesday of the week.ย

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day to day paid search optimization through various SEM partners
  • Write, review and implement new ads
  • Creative/Copy optimization and testing
  • Work with Google reps on tactical and strategic plans
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance
  • Work collaboratively within Marketing Department and cross functionally across the business
  • Find and develop new Digital Marketing opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years proven SEM experience and success creating, managing, & Optimizing PPC, CPV, CPA, & tCPA campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
  • Deep knowledge of Google tCPA methodology
  • Ability to analyze and suggest strategic/tactical changes based on a data driven methodology
  • Experience driving up conversion in a Lead-Gen based environment
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Adobe Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in media buying and planning across multiple channels, negotiation, creative design and process management
