HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Paid Search Supervisor at Direct Agents, you will be a key driver in the success of our clients' paid search campaigns. You will lead a team of Analysts and Strategists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that deliver exceptional results. Your analytical mindset, leadership skills, and passion for continuous learning will be key in contributing to our agency's ongoing success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute performance-driven paid search campaign strategies for diverse clients across various industries, ensuring revenue growth and effective cost management.
  • Driving quality control and quality assurance efforts within and across internal teams | Work with other agency staff to manage project evaluation, reporting, accounting, quality control, and data management. Act to ensure a high degree of timely completion and quality for project execution. Identify and coordinate DA resources to help facilitate project delivery as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and directly engage with clients to communicate campaign progress, results, and strategy.
  • Leverage analytics data to shape campaign strategies and optimizations, focusing on key metrics such as conversion rates, keyword bids, impression shares, seasonal trends, and more.
  • Expand campaign reach by integrating omni-channel strategies, including YouTube, display, Apple Search Ads, Bing Ads, and other platforms.
  • As a Supervisor, a key aspect of your role will be to develop relationships with team members and help inspire future leaders. You will achieve this by: 
    • Providing valuable coaching and mentorship to a team of Analysts and Strategists, helping them enhance their skills, overcome obstacles, and develop professionally
    • Leading onboarding initiatives of new hires in partnership with our People & Culture Team
    • Fostering an environment of growth, collaboration and excellence
    • Leading by example and embodying our agency’s core values.
    • Providing constructive performance management while maintaining a positive and motivating experience for team members

FIRST 3 MONTHS FOCUS:

  • Onboarding and Immersion: Gain a deep understanding of our agency's processes, clients, and team dynamics.
  • Client Engagement: Begin managing and optimizing existing paid search campaigns, collaborating closely with team members and clients.
  • Strategic Input: Participate in strategy discussions and contribute insights to various departments and clients to enhance campaign performance.
  • Team Integration: Establish relationships with your team members, offering mentorship and guidance.


AT THE ONE-YEAR MARK, YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS WILL INCLUDE: 

  • Campaign Leadership: Lead high-impact paid search campaigns, demonstrating your strategic prowess and delivering exceptional results. Partnering with business development and collaborating on custom pitches.
  • Team Growth: Continue nurturing your team, helping them develop and excel in their roles.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation within your team, exploring new techniques, tools, and channels to elevate campaign performance. 
  • Industry Recognition: Showcase your expertise by contributing to thought leadership initiatives, speaking engagements, and awards submissions.
  • Strategic Impact: Collaborate with senior leadership on broader agency strategies and initiatives. Conduct in-depth research to understand client business models, products/services, competition, and industry verticals, translating insights into profitable campaign initiatives.


 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • 5-7 years of experience in Search Marketing, preferably with e-commerce/entertainment/direct response clients
  • 1-2+ years of people management experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time efficiently
  • Possess a "big picture" perspective, but immediately willing to 'roll up your sleeves,’ and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Having an expert understanding of customer acquisition and direct response online marketing a big plus
  • Familiarity with HTML, website design, and web analytics. CSS and Javascript is a plus

This role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.

  • Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $125,000 with reviews based on performance and opportunities for bonus compensation
