Job Description
Build an Acute Care Pain Service Program in Downtown Orlando, Florida
The Orlando Health Medical Group seeks a qualified healthcare professional to join our comprehensive pain management program within a dynamic, multidisciplinary healthcare system. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and support patient-centered pain management services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide comprehensive pain management care for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
· Manage medication protocols and coordinate physical therapy interventions
· Conduct patient education on:
· Pain management techniques
· Self-care strategies
· Treatment plan objectives and expectations
· Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches based on clinical responses
· Collaborate with multiple medical specialties to ensure integrated, holistic patient care
· Deliver care across diverse healthcare settings, including hospital and clinic environments
Qualifications
· Education: M.D., D.O.
· Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
· Unrestricted FL Medical License (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
· Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management preferred, but not required.
