Paint: Machinary Shop

Job Title:Paint Prep: Machinery Location:San Jose & Fremont Shifts: • 1st: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Mon–Fri) • 2nd: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Mon–Fri) Salary:$20-$23 Job Summary Performs advanced surface prep to meet Class A, B, or C finish standards. Ensures proper masking, adhesion, and cosmetic results prior to painting. Supports process development and training initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Prep and clean parts to meet company and customer standards • Follow masking instructions and contribute to process development • Collaborate with engineering on new masking techniques • Train peers on prep and masking improvements Skills & Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) • Expert in sanding, grinding, bonding, and adhesion testing • Able to identify grit ratings and understand detailed paint process instructions • Familiar with safety and PPE protocols • Skilled in using sanders, grinders, and hand tools • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Flexible and willing to work in other areas as needed Physical Requirements • Stand for full shifts • Lift up to 25 lbs • Wear dust masks and ear protection in designated areas #INDSJ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Ability to Commute: • Fremont, CA 94539 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Fremont, CA 94539: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
