Painter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for executing high-quality painting projects across various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color theory, construction processes, and the ability to work with various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Duties • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. • Perform plastering and caulking tasks to ensure smooth finishes. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any maintenance needs promptly. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites. Skills • Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques. • Experience with hand tools and power tools used in painting and construction tasks. • Familiarity with construction estimating and basic math for project measurements. • Knowledge of industrial painting processes and materials is a plus. • Previous maintenance person experience or skills are beneficial.
