Painter/Laborer

Hiring Painters and/ or Floor installer/ Remodeling Specialist Location: DFW Metroplex Job Type:Full-time Pay: $730-$950 a week depending on experience We're seeking a skilled and reliable Painter & Floor Installer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: Painting: • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching holes, and applying primer. • Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other application methods. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, protecting furniture and fixtures from damage. • Match colors and textures to existing surfaces as needed. • Perform touch-ups and repairs as required. • Ensure a high-quality finish that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Floor Installation: • Prepare subfloors for flooring installation, including leveling, cleaning, and repairing imperfections. • Install various types of flooring including hardwood, laminate, vinyl (sheet, plank, and tile), and ceramic/porcelain tile according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. • Accurately measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific spaces. • Apply proper adhesives, mortars, grouts, and sealants. • Install baseboards, moldings, and other trim to complete the flooring installation. • Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and spacing of flooring materials. • Clean up work areas after installation, ensuring a tidy and professional finish. General: • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. • Report any issues or concerns to the project manager in a timely manner. • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor. Qualifications: • Proficient in a variety of painting techniques and/or floor installation methods. • Knowledge of various paint types, finishes, flooring materials, and adhesives. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. • Reliable transportation Ready to Apply?
