Painter/Laborer

Traveling Painter (Must be able to work at multiple sites) We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and general labor, with experience in various construction tasks. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. The Painter/Laborer will collaborate with other tradespeople to complete renovations and remodeling projects effectively. Duties • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. • Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment. • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. • Assist in drywall installation and repair, ensuring smooth finishes. • Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed for renovations or new construction. • Install fixtures and fittings according to design plans. • Work with stucco materials for exterior finishes when required. • Collaborate with team members on construction estimating to ensure project efficiency. • Restore and renovate existing structures while maintaining quality standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration. Requirements • Proven experience in painting, construction labor, or related fields. • Strong skills in blueprint reading to accurately follow project plans. • Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. • Proficient in frame carpentry techniques and practices. • Experience with stucco application and repair is preferred. • Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing methods. • Ability to restore and renovate various types of structures effectively. • Experience with fixture installation in residential or commercial settings. • Competence in airless paint spraying techniques is advantageous. • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
