Pano UI Intern 2024

The Role

In this position, you will be part of a 9-week Global Intern program, where you will work with other developers, architects, test engineers and product management in the development of real-time fixed income trading systems. You’ll be a part of our Pragma team, which powers a quantitative trading platform and specializes in algorithmic and analytical services.

How You'll Help Take Us There

• Join a development team where you will be under supervision of technologists and participate in team scrum meetings.
• Understand business requirements and how to translate them into technical designs.
• Work on a software project that solves a real need for MarketAxess.
• Participate in software design, development, testing, bug-fixes, and code reviews.
• Translate designs and wireframes into functional UI components and layouts.
• See your creation come into existence and use by the end of the summer program.

What We're Looking for

• Working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, graduating in Dec 2024 or May 2025.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without employment visa sponsorship required now or in the future. 
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience with popular JS frameworks. ReactJS preferred.
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with unit testing.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Experience working with modern IDEs and command terminals. IntelliJ IDEA preferred.
• Knowledge of a backend technology is a plus, NodeJS or Java.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $35.00 USD to $40.00 USD per hour. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
