Bloomberg's Workplace Operations group is looking for an experienced professional to oversee our Pantry Operations in New York and the Americas.
Based in our New York Headquarters you will oversee and optimize our pantry operations and engagement program. Collaborate with key stakeholders and ensure quality control to drive our programs across the Americas offices. Your creativity and innovation will help us provide excellent programs making budget management and vendor quality control integral to our success. Collaborate with internal and external partners, utilize project management skills, and embrace daily challenges. Part of a dynamic scrum team working to execute our global roadmap, making real-time decisions, and contributing to our success.
We'll trust you to:
- Drive consistency in our pantry offerings and food services reflecting our global standards
- Manage our food services vendor for the Americas, creating a partnership that drives operational excellence
- Manage the budget and, in partnership with Finance and procurement, ensure we have the right financial controls and KPIs to drive our service levels and quality of product
- Ensure our catering for events and internal meetings is right sized and appropriate
- Ensure our food program is engaging and constantly evolving, reflecting our core values of philanthropy through small business engagement and our commitment to sustainability
- Engage with our stakeholders at all levels of the organization to solicit feedback and keep program evolving
- Partner with Facilities Managers throughout North and South America to ensure we drive a consistent high-quality program
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of budget management, financial analysis, and cost optimization
- Experience in managing vendor partnerships and best practice around KPIs and procurement process
- Ability to efficiently implement new processes and lead organizational change initiatives
- Strong executive presence, confidence, and ability to develop relationships with a variety of partners
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effectively managing our vendor partners and internal relationships
- Proficiency in creating and delivering dynamic presentations and data analysis using PowerPoint, Excel, or other BI tools
We'd love to see:
- Strong project management skills or experience working in a Scrum or agile work environment
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency and ability to be flexible according to business needs
