Manufactured is looking for a dynamic paralegal to add to our team! In this role, you’ll partner directly with our General Counsel/COO and your work will touch everything from compliance and licensing to corporate governance documentation. We’re a fast-growing startup with a lean legal team, so the scope of your work will be highly diversified. The right candidate will be comfortable in a fast-moving environment who loves managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Work on compliance and licensure issues related to banking, lending, manufacturing and other related regulatory requirements both federal and statewide.
• Compliance checks for KYB/KYC, UCC, Pacer, TaxGuard, Tax Liens, LexisNexis and other government systems
• Assist on routine legal and corporate governance documentation including board minutes, consents, and other corporate legal tasks
• Assist on preparing, monitoring, and updating legal forms, monitoring signatures, and organizing documents securely
• Process and organize NDA’s, contracts, and supporting documents and setup and maintain data room
• Maintain calendars for renewals, due dates, and other timely issues 
• Work with insurance providers, source new insurance quotes, monitor renewals, work on enhancements and claims 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a paralegal; startup experience + paralegal certificate preferred
• Experience in compliance and licensing, preferably in banking/lending
• Exceptional communication skills in a remote-first environment; ability to pivot quickly in a fast-evolving environment
• A self-starter with enthusiasm who can work independently with minimal oversight on certain projects, but who is also a team player and can contribute to group projects when needed
• Experience with project management, including tracking deadlines and deliverables, and communicating with our General Counsel, clients, cross-functional partners, and outside counsel to push and drive projects to completion
